Guidlines for Paper Submissions

Submission of Individual Papers and Panel Proposals

The working language of the conference is English. As to encourage an informed dialogue, we welcome papers (3000-7000 words) by scholars and professionals from any discipline including but not limited to international relations, economics, law, political science, sociology, philosophy, media, language, literature and cultural studies. PhD students are also encouraged to take part. Paper presenters and panel organizers are requested to submit the theme of their panel or the title of their paper along with an abstract (approx. 500 words) and a short curriculum by email to the Congress Secretariat (submission[at]apisa5.org) or online. Proposals will be peer-reviewed by an international review committee.

Please note that we have notified all people who submitted an abstract (panel proposal) regardless of whether the International Review Committee accepted the proposal or not.
